Moments of tension took place a little while ago when the antagonists' march - underway in Naples against the G20 - arrived in Piazza Bovio.
The leader of the procession tried to move towards via Depretis, with the aim of reaching Piazza Municipio and from here easily entering the red zone.
The police confronted them with a double cordon of agents of the mobile department in riot gear, who had cellular vans placed across the road behind them.
The demonstrators threw water bags, garbage bags and other objects at the police, who protected themselves with shields.
