(ANSA) - VATICAN CITY, JULY 22 - A "pilot project" for the evaluation of personnel and a global analysis of the level of "operations, competence and behavior" of employees has started in the Vatican. The initiative is from the Secretariat for the Economy whose prefect, Father Juan Antonio Guerrero Alves, wrote to the dicastery heads and heads of entities and bodies of the Holy See, attaching the "employee evaluation and self-evaluation form", the relative instructions and the "guidelines resource evaluation guide ". The project, among which there is a "virtuous mobility" within the Curia, involves first some offices and then all the others.
Each employee, with a very detailed file, will be subjected to an evaluation regarding the categories of efficiency and methodicality ("operability"), specific preparation ("competence") and attitude on the workplace and relationships with colleagues and other contacts ( "behavior"). The evaluation scale - and also self-evaluation by the interested party - provides for each sector scores from 1 to 5, from "inadequate", to "improvable", to "adequate", up to "good" and "excellent" ". The Excel sheet then elaborates a partial score for each category and a final overall score, always from 1 to 5. (ANSA).
