Ecdc-WHO, Delta variant is dominant in Europe

(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, JULY 23 - The Delta variant of the Covid virus is dominant in Europe.

This was stated by the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (Ecdc) and the World Health Organization (WHO) in a joint note.

WHO and ECDC are urging priority groups, such as seniors, people with chronic diseases and healthcare professionals, to receive a full course of Covid-19 vaccination to protect themselves and the vulnerable people they come in contact with.
