The European Medicines Agency (EMA) approved this Friday the use of Moderna's vaccine for adolescents between 12 and 17 years old, the second drug against COVID authorized for that age group in the 27 countries of the European Union (EU), after the approval it gave to Pfizer in May. The Minister of Health, Carolina Darias, has confirmed in an interview on Onda Cero that a third booster dose of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccine will be injected, although, she stressed, it is yet to be determined when. Germany this Friday declared all of Spain a "high risk area", which will force unvaccinated travelers to quarantine upon their return.
