The images are once again impressive.
A week after the floods that hit Belgium, causing at least 36 deaths, new intense rains are falling in part of the country.
The provinces of Namur and Brabant Wallon are particularly affected by this storm.
According to the Belgian press, in Namur, a wall collapsed on the roadway near the casino, and several houses had to be evacuated.

In Dinant too, many roads were submerged.
On several videos and photos, we can see cars semi-submerged by water.
5 cars blocked a level crossing, and 25 were washed away, according to a deputy mayor.
Rail traffic was interrupted there.
In the flooded towns, the emergency services were busy all evening, pumping the cellars of certain homes in particular.

“Fortunately, we are quite far from the phenomenon of the past week.
Indeed, even if fairly significant thunderstorms are forecast locally, the nights will generally be quieter (…).
However, problems of water overflows are to be feared ”indicates the Royal Institute of Meteorology.
According to meteorological authorities, these thunderstorms should not last long.
The weather should turn dry again tonight.
But on Sunday afternoon, new “fairly heavy” showers are likely to fall.
