(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 24 - Russia has recorded 799 deaths in the last 24 hours, its worst daily toll.
Moscow also reported 23,947 new cases.

The country is in the throes of a wave of cases that authorities attribute to the contagious Delta variant, although some officials have suggested in recent days that cases, at least in Moscow, are starting to decline.
