A busy Saturday on the roads.
The peak of traffic jams came close to 1000 km, with 981.5 km of cumulative traffic jams, shortly before noon for this Saturday classified red throughout the territory in the direction of departures and orange in the direction of returns.
This second weekend of big departures was slightly less busy than the previous one, the peak of the slowdowns then reached 1053 km nationally at 12:05 pm.

The busiest axes are in the Rhône valley and around Bordeaux.
At midday, 142 km of traffic jams were observed on the A7 in the Drôme and 95 km on the A10 in the Gironde.
"The traffic is very busy on the Mediterranean Arc and in particular on the axes towards the beaches", specifies the road information center of the Mediterranean zone, which observes lengthened travel times in particular 1h40 instead of 55 minutes to connect Aix to Orange or 2h40 instead of 1h40 between Orange and Lyon.
Difficulties approaching Caen on the A13 in the Paris-Province direction were also encountered, according to Bison Futé.
A smoother Sunday
For this second weekend of the summer holidays, "holidaymakers from Northern Europe will be more and more likely to travel to France, during the school holidays in their own country," predicted Bison Futé, while that the first return from vacation will also complicate Saturday traffic, classified orange in the direction of returns.
Traffic should be a little more fluid on Sunday, classified as green at the national level and orange in the Auvergne - Rhône-Alpes region and along the Mediterranean.
