Migrants: UNHCR, 248 reported to Libya since yesterday

(ANSA) - TUNIS, 25 JUL - "About 147 people were brought back to Tripoli after being rescued / intercepted during the night by the Libyan Coast Guard".

The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) in Libya writes on Twitter, adding that UNHCR and its partner International Rescue Committee (IRC) are on the ground to provide the necessary humanitarian aid and medical assistance.

    Also on Twitter, a similar intervention by the Libyan Coast Guard occurred yesterday in which another 101 migrants were brought back to Tripoli.
