A concert by the singer Nena ended prematurely on Sunday evening.

The »Tagesspiegel« reports on this.

The performance near the BER airport in Schönefeld near Berlin was part of the "Under the Open Sky" series.

The reason for the termination were apparently several violations of the hygiene concept.

For example, concert goers did not wear masks or did not adhere to the prescribed distance rules.

It was reported several times that the public order office had canceled the concert.

According to the press office of the Schönefeld Public Order Office, this is wrong.

The decision to end the concert after the main program without an encore was made by the organizer.

According to the organizers, the audience should be in specified areas: "The areas are clearly delimited and the safety distances must be observed", says an FAQ on the concert series.

There were so-called "boxes" made from crates of cola in which the visitors should have stayed.

Several times during the concert, Nena is said to have asked the visitors to move closer to her on the stage, according to the newspaper report.

The stewards tried again and again to put a stop to this.

According to the Tagesspiegel, Nena continued to urge everyone to approach her. Finally she said: "I am threatened here that they will cancel the show because you do not go into your boxes." And further: “I leave it up to you whether you do that or not, everyone is free to decide. Just like everyone is free to decide whether they want to be vaccinated or not! "

In videos from the concert published on Twitter you can see that the singer made no move to adhere to the rules of the event.

Later she called from the stage: “So turn off the power or get me down here with the police - I don't fucking care!

I'm fed up! «The audience applauds.

The matter is "politicized", she finds that "completely sore" - and pointed out that the day before on Christopher Street Day it was okay "that 80,000 people were close together on the street."

The event ended shortly before the end of the concert.

The usual encore was not allowed to be played.

The »Tagesspiegel« reports that Nena's partner Philipp Palm addressed the audience with some apparently soothing words.

The singer had previously caused a sensation with statements and posts that suggested a close association with the lateral thinker movement.

For example, she wrote "Thank you Kassel" after more than 20,000 participants came to a "lateral thinking" event in March in the north Hessian city.
