Admittedly, this pancake cake is not one of the lightning-fast cake recipes, because you first prepare the dough and let it rest, then bake the pancakes and then stack them alternately with cream, jam and fruit.
But you don't have to put anything in the oven for that.
All you need is a pan to bake the pancakes and the impostor is good to go.

Recipe for a delicious pancake cake: the ingredients
Servings: 12 pieces
Preparation time: 60 minutes
For the pancakes:
6 eggs
4 tbsp sugar
1 pinch of sugar
400 g of flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
800 ml milk
Oil or butter for frying
For the filling:
250 g whipped cream
1 packet of vanilla sugar
250 g quark
500 g strawberries
250 g strawberry jam

Make pancake cake yourself: It's that easy
For the pancakes,
mix the eggs, sugar and salt together in a bowl to make a frothy mixture.
In a second bowl, mix the flour and baking powder.
Now alternately stir the flour mixture and milk in small portions into the egg and sugar mixture until a smooth dough is formed.
Cover and let the dough soak for about 15 minutes.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat with a little oil or butter.
Add a ladle of batter to the hot pan and bake a pancake until the top is firm and the bottom is lightly browned.
Then turn and bake from the other side until golden brown.
Put the finished pancake on a plate, add more oil or butter to the pan and bake the other pancakes one after the other until the batter is used up.
Then let all the pancakes cool down.
For the filling,
whip the whipped cream with the vanilla sugar until stiff.
Carefully fold the cream into the quark and refrigerate everything until you use it.
Wash and stem the strawberries and cut them into slices or pieces as desired.
Now it is stacked:
Place a pancake on a cake plate, spread it with about 2 tablespoons of strawberry jam.
Place the next pancake on top and coat it evenly up to the edge with approx. 1 tablespoon of quark cream.
Continue stacking the pancakes in this way, alternately brushing them with jam and cream.
You should finish with the cream and quark cream.
Then come the chopped strawberries.
Put the pancake cake in the cold until serving.
This is guaranteed to impress your brunch or coffee guests, simply something different!
