We all know how important it is to balance body and mind, maintain a healthy lifestyle, proper nutrition and most importantly - awareness. All of this is a significant part of Liran Kohaner's life and therefore, she went out to meet Shani Arad, dietitian Strauss, to get some nutrition tips and a recipe for a special smoothie.



So what's the "diet shake" that Shani made Liran try?



1) Start with the raspberries, blueberries and banana, as many as you like



2) Add carrots and spinach leaves (you can also use spirulina or any other green alternative)

) Add

beets or other purple vegetables as you wish, 2 tablespoons of tahini and one tablespoon of yogurt



4) Close All with 2 tablespoons of oatmeal, a full carbohydrate that contains iron and is rich in fiber.



5) At the end add ice and some water gradually and mix in a shaker



"To me, a smoothie can also be a full meal," Shani explained. "With vitamins and minerals obtained from vegetables, fat, protein and whole carbohydrates, good and rich in dietary fiber, as there is in oatmeal. It contains fiber that is hard to find in other foods and that is its advantage. This smoothie can be a full four meal."



Later, between shlok, Liran asked if Shani really takes care of everything she advises others and Shani answered that she too is not always perfect, but she takes care to eat the healthiest, with a minimum of work: "Many people think that a full and hot meal is the best, but rather a meal Fresh and nutritious - contains everything. So yes - I'm usually perfect. But not always ... ". The right balance? At least one meal is as nutritious as possible each day, and then it is also permissible to forge occasionally. The smoothie is just what you need to take care of yourself.



And two also have a tip for you regarding children: teach them from an early age to eat new textures, like oatmeal for example and a variety of foods.

If they are exposed early to this, the chances of them eating better and more properly in the future are higher.
