A unique structure in Emilia-Romagna, dedicated to white truffles and the relationship with the environment in which it grows. The Ecomuseo del Tartufo, the 'tuber magnatum pico', symbol of the Romagna town and at the center of a fair - now in its 37th edition scheduled for next Sunday, was inaugurated in Sant'Agata Feltria, in the Rimini area. The museum - which has an area of 100 square meters and is the result of the work of the Pro Loco of Sant'Agata Feltria - contains an interactive exhibition, consisting of giant photos with suggestive and significant images of the world of truffles; descriptions; videos and documentaries of the places of the so-called 'gold of the woods' with expert commentary.
Thanks to images, photos and objects, the 'search' for the tuber is also told, along with the gastronomy that sees it as the protagonist, on the most sought-after tables. In the rooms of the museum the history of the truffle, its tradition, its biological cycle, the choice of dog, the national fair, the association 'Città del Tartufo' are told.
