Jeff Bezos offers NASA a $ 2 billion discount to secure the contract to bring astronauts to the moon. A contract, the American media reported, for which NASA chose Elon Musk's SpaceX in April citing budget limits.
Now comes Bezos's proposal contained in a letter, in which the Amazon owner reiterates that Blue Origin has not been granted the opportunity to review the cost of the offer for the mission to the Moon. A historic mission that should include the first woman and the first African American.
"Instead of a one-source approach, NASA should embrace the competitive strategy, which prevents the possibility that a single source has excessive leverage on NASA," Bezos points out.
