Dante 700, ceremony on 12 September in Ravenna with a Muti concert

(ANSA) - RAVENNA, 27 JUL - The ceremony of Dante's annual death, on the 700th anniversary, will mark 12 September with the Concerto for Dante directed by Riccardo Muti, the solemnity of the year dedicated to the Supreme Poet: 130 events, 30 places, 65 subjects involved. The day will complete and at the same time a new beginning to the celebrations of the centenary year that had opened with the participation of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella on 5 September 2020. The celebratory day will begin in the morning with the unions of the many cities of Italy that preserve Dante's memories, which will through the streets of Ravenna a colorful forest of monfalons, many of which are mentioned by Dante in the Comedy.
