The Dresden public prosecutor's office has brought charges against a former employee of a day-care center on suspicion of sexual abuse of children.
The 27-year-old is said to have molested girls in several cases, the authority said.
The man is accused of having committed sexual acts in a total of 20 cases between August 2018 and October 2020 on six girls who were two to three years old at the time of the offense.
During this time, the accused was employed as a pedagogical employee in the day-care center.
In most cases, he is said to have filmed or photographed the deeds.
Accused largely confessed
Prior to this, the accused allegedly committed sexual acts on a girl in eight cases between July 2013 and August 2015 and secretly filmed them.
The child was eight to ten years old at the time.
The public prosecutor accuses the 27-year-old of serious sexual abuse of children in a total of twelve cases and sexual abuse in 16 cases.
The man with no criminal record has been in custody since January.
He essentially confessed to the allegations.
The Dresden Regional Court now decides on the opening of the main proceedings and the admission of the indictment.
