What initially sounded like a normal traffic accident quickly turned into a curious case: A truck rammed a camper on the A66 in Hesse on Tuesday morning.
The resulting crack in the outer skin of the vehicle then spread around 50 kilograms of marijuana on the highway.
The accident occurred in the direction of Fulda near the Bad Orb / Wächtersbach exit.
As the police in Offenbach announced, the driver of the mobile home had stopped briefly on the hard shoulder to relieve himself in the vehicle's toilet.
The truck driver apparently misjudged the situation and hit the rear of the motorhome with force.
The outer wall was torn open and the drugs were distributed on the highway.
The driver of the motorhome and his passenger were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
The officers are now investigating where the drugs came from.
They were obviously hidden in the camping vehicle.
