Norma Fernández has just left the garden of the Loreto parish, in Sarandí, where the cinerary with the ashes of her daughter Gabriela Cano, who died on July 27, 2020, at the age of 31, is a victim of
cancer of the head of the uterus. .
But also the coronavirus, even though he did not contract it.
Three times a week Norma (60) repeats the routine with stoicism, willpower and a mixture of endless pain and anger.
He remarks that he
does not enter the parish,
that he goes directly to the garden because he does not want to have anything to do with God.
"That's it, enough, too much punishment ...
My four children underwent surgery
... Gaby, who had to undergo dialysis due to kidney problems, then the transplant came and when her life seemed resolved ... the damn cancer", bill.

months go by and I don't find peace.
I'm angry with myself and with the doctors at the Hospital de Clínicas, where my daughter was treating cancer, but they turned their backs on her, Gaby was abandoned, they did not attend her because
the doctors said that the hospital was
was in a
national emergency due to the pandemic
. "
"We were very close friends, united, talkative and argued about everything," remembers Norma, here with her daughter Gaby.
Fernández made a complaint for
"abandonment of person, breach of duties of public officials"
that is processed in the National Criminal Prosecutor's Office No. 13 of the Federal Capital.

Norma, Gabriela's mother, filed a criminal complaint for the death of her daughter.

Three months without care
Gabriela was admitted on July 8, 2020 at the Rossi Hospital in La Plata,
after being adrift for almost three months, without care or available bed
.

Norma held her daughter Gaby's hands until almost the end "so that she wouldn't go away."
But Norma prefers and needs to remember that friendly, affectionate daughter, always attentive to her mother and arguing about everything ... She was tremendous, she didn't want to lose one - she remembers nostalgically -.
