The podcast "Cui bono: WTF happened to Ken Jebsen?" Is being reissued as a documentary series for television.

This has been announced by the production company Florida Film.

The six-part documentary podcast, which started in mid-June, tells the story of the former radio and TV presenter Ken Jebsen, who rose to become an influential conspiracy ideologist via YouTube after being kicked out of the public service.

This story is now to be continued in the form of a documentary fictional series, explained Florida Film.

The adaptation with the working title »Cui Bono: die Serie« is produced by Anne Solá Ferrer and Lars Jessen (»Fraktus«, »Forever Summer 90«).

The podcast was one of the most successful productions of the past few weeks.

With the release of the first episode, according to Florida Film, the format occupied the top of the German podcast charts and held this position over the six weeks in which new episodes were published.

The series adaptation is a cross-media reuse: the podcast was a joint production by Studio Bummens, NDR, rbb and K2H.

Florida Entertainment, which is responsible for the series, is a partner in Studio Bummens and K2H, which are now to be closely involved in the development of the series.
