A police officer present on January 6 testified to the trauma of the attack: "The January 6 assault on the Capitol looked like a" medieval battle (...) I thought: that's how I'm going to die ". Before adding: "My fellow police officers and I were punched, kicked, pushed, sprayed with irritating chemicals and even blinded by lasers."
