(ANSA) - PARIS, JUL 28 - In France, the new squeeze by Emmanuel Macron against the coronavirus, including the extension of the health pass to many activities such as bars, restaurants and long-distance transport, will come into force on 9 August next: it is declared by the government spokesman, Gabriel Attal, deputy for the council of ministers in Paris.
"The Constitutional Council - Attal recalled - has indicated that it will announce its decision (on the Covid-reading project, ed) next August 5. The law will therefore be promulgated immediately afterwards, with an entry into force that we foresee for August 9", he specified, assuring that there will be a time of "adaptation and running in" before the sanctions are triggered against any violators of the new rules.
