ROME - A pinch of Indiana Jones and Pirate of the Caribbean, lots of jungle with ferocious animals, dizzying waterfalls, a splash of mystery that could change the fate of the world and the right irony to face even the greatest dangers.
Here we are entered into the Disney world of JUNGLE CRUISE, a film directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and set during the early years of the twentieth century and which takes its name from the rides of the same name that appeared in the playgrounds since 1955, from July 28 in the hall and from the 30 in streaming on Disney +.
This is the story. Frank (Dwayne Johnson, better known as 'The Rock'), captain of a small but indomitable boat known as La Quila, agrees to accompany two English explorers, the scientist Lily Houghton (Emily Blunt) and her brother McGregor (Jack Whitehall). The couple is looking for a mythical tree that possesses extraordinary healing properties: the Tree of Life. The discovery of the shrub could change the future of medicine and save the fate of humanity.
