The City opens this Thursday the registration to vaccinate adolescents between 12 and 17 years of age with risk factors

It is for patients with diabetes, obesity and chronic respiratory disease, among other pathologies. They will apply doses of Moderna.

The City Government reported that this Thursday from 8.30 am, online registration will be enabled for the coronavirus vaccination of adolescents between 12 and 17 years of age with risk factors.

Among the "prioritized conditions" are pathologies such as diabetes, obesity and chronic respiratory disease, among others.

It was already enabled for all Buenos Aires 18 years and older and now they will be added to that age group. 

The decision, reported the City, was made by the National Ministry of Health and the health authorities of the different jurisdictions, in the latest edition of the Federal Health Council (COFESA).

As agreed, in this instance

the doses of Moderna

donated by the United States will be used.

In the next few days, after registration, the assignment of shifts will begin.

When attending to be vaccinated, adolescents must present a certificate proving the existence of a prioritized condition.
