According to the current picture of the reality regarding the increase in morbidity in Corona in Israel and around the world, most of us will vacation in Israel, in hotels, B & Bs and villas from north to south, and we will pay quite a bit for that.

If you are one of the procrastinators - you will probably have to pay even more for it (literally) and the chance that you will be able to close the place you are looking at is low, because the occupancy of the variety of accommodation at this end of July is almost 100 percent. To part with an amount approaching five digits for a family vacation.

So what can be done anyway, is it possible to go on vacation in Israel at a price of 150 shekels per person per day without "getting involved"?

So the answer is yes!

We asked a weekend website to recommend us some accommodations like khans and camps where you can go on summer vacation in maximum style, despite the limited budget.

One way to go on an experiential vacation with family or friends is through accommodation in Khan. It is a form of shared accommodation in which several people live in a large, air-conditioned tent, which is equipped with mattresses and pillows, available power points, showers and toilets and a shared kitchen equipped for self-cooking. Beyond that in the khan complexes there are rest areas with hammocks, fruit trees, spice gardens, workshops, play areas, living and petting corners and a variety of other elements, aimed at enriching the hospitality experience and providing employment for children and shared experiences.

The complex also has everything you need for outdoor cooking: meat smoker, stove, outdoor kitchen.

Beyond the basics in the Desert Khan there is also a large and spacious courtyard with a fire pit, oven and playground. Bonus: Khan guests will be able to enter the community's pool during the bathing season.

Timna Park, the southern prairie

Unlike accommodation in a khan, accommodation in a camp is a bit different - here you will have to bring your equipment from home: tents, mattresses and everything you need to relax and not be stressed that you are missing something.

There is probably no air conditioning in the camp interns, but if you decide to go for a tidy camp, it is recommended that you choose one that is close to a water source so that you can refresh yourself in the hot hours.

What the campers specialize in is the electrical connection, showers and toilets, an outdoor kitchen and a campfire area.

If you are not experienced in space accommodation, it is recommended not to go and buy all the equipment, but to borrow a tent from friends to experiment with this type of accommodation and see if it is something that suits you, and only then go and invest in suitable space accommodation that can be used for future space vacations.

In Timna Park you can set up a tent in a beautiful area in the Arava in a neat camping complex.

The complex is located near the lake which will ease the heat load during the summer.

The camping complex has electricity, lighting, showers and toilets.

Timna Park has a variety of attractions right on site (such as pedal boats, off-road bike trails, colored sand and more) that can keep the kids and you busy throughout the vacation, so if you don't feel like moving too much and you flow on setting up a tent independently this is the perfect solution for a limited vacation On a budget.

The complex also has an authentic restaurant where you can order lunches and freshly baked in the oven.

How much does it cost?

NIS 85 per person per night for accommodation in the independent camping complex.
