A tragic accident occurred during the morning of this Wednesday in the province of Córdoba.
A 64-year-old man
who was taking his granddaughter to school was killed when his car hit a horse that crossed the road.
The dramatic event took place on
National Route 38
, at kilometer 71, in the jurisdiction of the city of La Cumbre
, located 96 kilometers northwest of the provincial capital.
The victim, a native of the town of
Villa Giardino
, was driving around 7:30 am aboard a Chevrolet Corsa with his 17-year-old granddaughter, with whom he was going to a secondary school located in Los Cocos, a town located about fifteen kilometers away. from La Cumbre.
In dialogue with local media, Inspector Commissioner Claudio Sánchez reported that

"We had to make a total cut in the route, with detours in La Cumbre and at the junction between Route 368 and Los Cocos," added Commissioner Sánchez, in relation to the operation in the area.
