Transport Minister Jean-Baptiste Djebbari clarified this Wednesday morning on BFMTV on the implementation of the health pass in transport, which would take place "between August 7 and 10".
No systematic checks for TGV travel, assures the minister, but rather "on the outskirts of the platforms, randomly on board trains and on arrival.
The constraint is therefore twofold as we approach departures on August 15: to carry out as many checks as possible without disturbing passengers too much in the stations.
Sanitary pass in the trains: checks will be done "mainly on the platforms" but also "in the trains" and "on arrival", explains Jean-Baptiste Djebbari pic.twitter.com/dRaKg3XI6Z

The checks will be carried out by the railway workers, the SNCF security service or the police.
For its part, the Sud Rail union called on the railway workers not to insure them.
For a traveler who has bought a train ticket and has meanwhile tested positive for Covid, the SNCF will ensure the reimbursement, assures the minister.
And the same goes for plane tickets.
Jean-Baptiste Djebbari also announced the expansion of Air France's “ready to fly” system, which allows passengers going to Corsica or the French overseas departments and territories to send their health pass in advance to reduce waiting times. at airports.
“EuroTunnel put it in place and it works very well,” he said.
Jean-Baptiste Djebbari also mentioned the fate of roadside restaurants, which will be an exception to the rule.
While restaurants will have to implement the health pass, they will be exempt, "to ensure the logistics chain".
