(ANSA) - NAPLES, JULY 28 - "Politics at this time must pay great attention to a situation like Whirlpool which has become a symbol throughout the country of the struggle for work". This was stated by Catello Maresca, candidate for mayor in Naples in the center-right at the end of the meeting he had this morning with the workers of the appliance company he was about to close and sent the dismissal letters to everyone. Maresca met about 50 workers in the theater room of the factory, listening to their request for commitment to a problem that affects the whole city and not just the workers, that of the loss of many jobs and the spaces in which organized crime insinuates itself. "In a land like this - commented Maresca - there isthere is an extraordinary need for the presence of the institutions and a candidate mayor who aspires to lead this city comes here for the need to listen to the cry of the territory and also the concern that emerges clearly from the words of these workers to risk for themselves and their children a future that is not that that we deserve: this city area has a high criminal density and the possibility that crime will put their hands on healthy resources is very real, we must all be side by side with the workers every day and make our voices heard.this city area has a high level of crime and the possibility that crime puts its hands on healthy resources is very real, we must all be alongside the workers every day and make our voices heard.this city area has a high level of crime and the possibility that crime puts its hands on healthy resources is very real, we must all be alongside the workers every day and make our voices heard.
Obviously this is a problem that is not solved only in Naples, it is a problem that must be brought to the institutional headquarters. Unity is strong and therefore we have to start again from here to gain the strength of Naples and the Neapolitans ". (ANSA).
