Job cancellation was emailed the same day

The 40-year-old retail

salesman

, who, according to a report by

Bild.de, works

as a shift worker, was urgently looking for a job at the time.

So he applied to “Rietze Automodelle” in Altdorf as a “mounter for digital printing machines”.

On the same day, however, the rejection from boss Roswitha Rietze (67) came by email.

But the reason shocked him:

"Our very small, filigree parts are more for nimble female hands,"

it was written there.

"Please understand that you are not eligible for this position."

Applicant angry about job cancellation

"In Germany is discriminatory companies on the fingers cut" Dinar railed at

.

“You often read about discrimination against women.

I never expected to be exposed to it at some point. "

The fired applicant immediately took a lawyer.

Against

pain and suffering

of three months' salary, but at least 8,000 euros, he wanted to refrain from action.

But the head of the company refused: “I didn't want to offend or discriminate against anyone.

It was a figurative expression that it requires very fine finger needs, "said Rietze declared to

.

So the case ended up before the Nuremberg Labor Court.

The judges, however, were not very convinced of the company's boss's reasoning: According to the court, there was “discrimination” that was punishable by law and ordered

the company to pay around two months' salary

(around 3,000 euros gross), which Dinar would have received if employed.

According to another

Bild

report

, this amount was

too high for

the lawyer

- the process will continue at the end of October.
