(ANSA) - TEL AVIV, 29 JUL - Israelis over 60 years old who have already been vaccinated will be able to receive a third dose of Pfizer starting from Sunday, provided that more than five months have passed since the administration of the second. This was reported by the Ministry of Health which asked the mortgage banks to organize themselves adequately. Israel is the first country in the world to take such a step. Yesterday, a team of experts advised the government to switch to third-dose distribution after noticing a drop in the vaccine's effectiveness when they were immunized six months ago. (HANDLE).
