(ANSA) - BERLIN, JULY 29 - The administrative court of North Rhine-Westphalia has decided not to send back two asylum seekers to Italy because in our country they "risk seriously undergoing inhuman and degrading treatment". The ruling concerns two asylum seekers from Somalia and Mali who, due to the Dublin regulation, should have been sent back to the place of first competent landing place for their asylum procedure, Italy. In the reasoning of the sentence, reference is made to the fact that "both applicants would not have access to a reception facility and related safety in the event of a return to Italy". (HANDLE).
