Sony has announced that 10 million people have purchased the PlayStation 5 * since it was released.
This means that the new console has sold more often than the PS4 in the same period.

On the one hand, there were significant delays in the supply chains due to the coronavirus pandemic and, on the other hand, hardware manufacturers are struggling with a semiconductor shortage, which is slowing down the production of the PS5.
