Bosnia, Afghan child drowns in a river towards Croatia

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JUL 30 - A five-year-old Afghan child drowned in northwestern Bosnia-Herzegovina while last night he was trying with his parents and other siblings to cross the Una river to illegally cross into Croatia.


   In reporting this, the regional media underline the efforts of the doctors to try to resuscitate the child, but results were in vain. Thousands of migrants traveling along the Balkan route are trying to cross the border with Croatia in the far northwest of Bosnia and Herzegovina and continue towards Western Europe. (HANDLE).
