Five people were charged and detained in Córdoba, in the framework of the case in which the
contagion of 17 people with the Delta variant
of the coronavirus
is being investigated
two people of Peruvian nationality and three Argentines
In the case of the Peruvian nationals, it was found that one of them violated the restriction rules imposed by having arrived in the country from abroad, and the other because he was a direct contact with the country and did not respect the restrictions.
Both are charged by article 205 of the Penal Code, which refers to the
violation of restriction measures
For their part, of the three Argentines it was found that they did not keep isolation despite knowing, after having performed the corresponding swabs, that they were positive for Covid 19 in its Delta variant.

Argentines are charged with non-compliance with article 202 of the Penal Code, which corresponds to the
spread of the virus
The five defendants stayed in a hotel arranged by the epidemiology area of the Ministry of Health of Córdoba.
So far there are 17 infections, at least 13 of them with the dreaded Delta strain, and there are just over 250 isolates, but the authorities warned that the number could increase and they track more than 200 people.
In addition, two schools closed.
The Secretary of Health, Gabriela Barbás, informed Channel 12 of Córdoba: "In these first hours we are having 17 positive cases, more than 250 isolated people and we are waiting for new results from close contacts."
In the morning, the tests began on the entire educational community of the schools in the capital of Córdoba where the boys from families with positive diagnoses attend.
