This crossover weekend will be busy on the roads. This Friday is classified in orange, before a black Saturday for departures.

The big weekend of the crossover is looming: the juillettists have finished their holidays, the Augustans are going to start theirs.

A transition that will be visible on the roads from this Friday.

The day is classified orange (which is equivalent to a "difficult traffic") in the direction of the departures as in that of the returns, according to Bison smart. The roads will be particularly congested in the South-East, between Narbonne and Orange in both directions, but also between Orange and Marseille in the direction of departures and between Orange and Lyon in the direction of return. Traffic will be very difficult around Bordeaux and the Mont-Blanc tunnel, in both directions.

The most difficult day of the weekend will be this Saturday.

It is classified black in the direction of the departures, and orange in the direction of the returns except in the South-East, where it will be red.

In detail, the west of France, between Poitiers and Bordeaux, will be saturated in both directions.

Same problem in the South-East between Marseille and Narbonne, in the axis going up from the South-East towards Lyon, as well as around the Mont-Blanc tunnel.

Traffic will also be very difficult in the direction of departures in Ile-de-France, especially towards the South-West.

Still struggling on Sunday

Sunday, the day is classified orange in both directions by Bison smart.

Some areas will be more congested, especially around Marseille and Aix-en-Provence, in both directions between Montpellier and Orange then between Orange and Lyon.

The following weekend promises to be a little less crowded, since only the upper part of the south-eastern quarter of France will be black on Saturday in the direction of the departures, the rest of the territory will be red.
