Determined, aware, ready to get involved. Rapper Lowlow is back with a new album, out on July 30th, and he does it by getting naked, as the title promises: "In First Person" (Epic Records Italy / Sony Music Italy).

"The key word to tell about this record and this period of my life - says the 28 year old from Rome - is the search for openness: compared to my previous works, in which I hid behind so many cultural references, this time I am in the foreground. I put aside fears and vulnerabilities that translated into anger to find a human tranquility that I had previously lacked. " Because, he claims, Lowlow and Giulio (his registered name) "are the same person, but now - quoting Eminem - I am no longer afraid of getting hurt".

"In first person", therefore, marks an artistic and personal evolution of the rapper, who tells the daily life and his life without filters, showing himself without giving up a writing that has always been strongly identifying. "I took off the mask and became more real, more real. More than in the form, the change is in the substance".

For this record, a point of arrival but also of departure whose common thread is the personality of the artist in all its facets, Lowlow, while maintaining the association with Big Fish, wanted various colleagues and producers at his side, opening up to sounds new. In the latest single "Dirty Consciousness" there is his friend Brig, in "Until I don't hate you" the feat. with Ghemon, but among the guests also J-Ax and SVM. The tracks are signed by producers Daddy's Groove, DFO, Cosmophonix, Marvely and Leo. (HANDLE).
