The Ministry of Health of the Nation reported this Monday that another
274 deaths and 11,183 new cases
of coronavirus were registered in Argentina in the last 24 hours, while the return to face-to-face classes begins and amid concern about the Delta variant.
With these records, the total number of covid infections since the beginning of the pandemic reaches 4,947,030, of which 246,112 are active patients.
In addition, the deceased
are already 106,045

There are 3,819 seriously ill.
The occupation of
intensive care
beds
for all pathologies reaches
53.7% throughout the country
, while it reaches 52.2% in the AMBA.
The
positivity index
, which measures the relationship between daily infections and tests, was 16.3%, still above the 10% recommended by the WHO.
The detail, province by province
The Province of Buenos Aires (3,087 new infections and 1,979,034 accumulated) and Córdoba (1,276 - 470,456) were the two provinces with the most cases registered this Monday.
Another three districts exceeded 500 infected daily.
These are Tucumán (976 - 181,889), Santa Fe (923 - 448,747) and the City of Buenos Aires (682 - 492,737).
