(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 02 - There are 3,190 Covid test positives identified in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Health Minister. Yesterday there were 5,321. Instead, there are 23 victims in one day (yesterday there were 5).
The molecular and antigenic swabs for the coronavirus carried out in the last 24 hours were 83,223. Yesterday there were 167,761.
The positivity rate is 3.8%, up from 3.2% on Sunday.
In intensive care, 249 patients are hospitalized today, 19 more than yesterday in the balance between entries and exits. The daily entries, according to data from the Ministry of Health, were 25 (yesterday they were 22). Patients with symptoms in the ordinary wards return to over two thousand: they are 2,070, 116 more than yesterday.
The cases in Italy since the beginning of the epidemic are 4,358,533, 128,088 amounts. The discharged and healed are instead 4,137,428, with an increase of 1,498 compared to yesterday. Currently positives are 93,017, up 1,667 in the last 24 hours.
