The health situation continues to worsen.
This Monday, in the middle of the summer holidays, the latest figures from the health authorities show 7,840 patients currently hospitalized for a coronavirus infection, against 7,821 on Sunday and 7,137 on Monday, July 26.
In the last 24 hours, 688 new admissions have been recorded against 312 on Sunday.
In critical care services, which take care of people suffering from severe forms of the disease, the number of patients treated crossed the threshold of 1,100 patients on Sunday.
They are now 1232 to be treated there.
They were 872 seven days ago.
In the past 24 hours, 51 patients have died in hospital.
