(ANSA) - PESCARA, 02 AUG - After the tragic Sunday with the fires that devastated the area of the Riserva Dannunziana and southern Pescara, last night the firefighters have reclaimed and monitored the entire area with different teams, extinguishing some small outbreak that was reactivated. But during the night in the Pescara area, other men and vehicles of the firefighters worked to tame the fires in the areas of Farindola (already affected yesterday by a vast fire), Castiglione a Casauria and Città Sant'Angelo. At dawn today the situation was under control. Last night the mobile columns of the firefighters arrived in Pescara from Lazio and Tuscany to support their Abruzzo colleagues. Meanwhile, always atalba has been emptied the PalaBecci of the Pescara Tourist Port where yesterday some people who had been slightly intoxicated in the fires of Pescara converged. In these, gradually the people evacuated from their homes, mainly for precautionary reasons, will return to their homes. As reported by the police yesterday, hundreds of people had been evacuated as well as bathing beaches and a rest home. In these hours the damage count has already begun.
