Jay Pickett, known for his series appearances in "General Hospital" or "Port Charles", is dead. The US actor died at the age of 60 while filming the western drama "Treasure Valley", like co-producer Travis Mills on a Facebook -Posting confirmed: "Jay Pickett, our leading actor, screenwriter, producer and creator of this film passed away suddenly while we were preparing to shoot a scene." Mills says there is still no official explanation for the cause of death.
But a heart attack is likely.
Earlier, actor Jim Heffel had written in another post: "Yesterday I lost a good friend and the world lost a great person." According to this, Pickett died "sitting on a horse, ready to rope up an ox."
Pickett began his career in the 1980s with film roles such as "Rush Week" or "Eve of Destruction".
He later played in the soap series "General Hospital" and "Port Charles".
Most recently he was seen in films such as “A Soldier's Revenge” (2020) and “A thing of faith” (2014).
