Ingredients for the shortcrust pastry:

Crumble cake on shortcrust pastry: the preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius top / bottom heat.

    Also, grease a baking sheet or lay out fresh baking foil.

  • If you are making the shortcrust pastry

    yourself: Knead the flour, butter, sugar, eggs and salt in a bowl until a firm dough is formed.

  • Lay out the purchased or self-made dough on the baking sheet and sprinkle with the almonds.

    Then distribute the fruit pitted and in not too large pieces on the dough.

  • Slide the tray onto the middle rail of your oven and let it bake for about 20 minutes.

  • For the crumble

    : knead the flour, butter, sugar and cinnamon until the mixture becomes crumbly.

    After the 20-minute baking time, spread the streusel on the tray.
