(ANSA) - TOKYO, 02 AUG - The Tokyo Stock Exchange begins the first session of the week in the name of optimism, awaiting the data from the manufacturing industry in China and more indications from the quarterly season.
The Nikkei advanced by 0.88% to 27,523.33, with a gain of 239 points.
On the currency front, the yen is stable against the dollar at 109.60 and against the euro at 130.10.
