(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, 01 AUG - The American John Isner yesterday won his sixth title of the ATP tournament in Atlanta by beating the young compatriot Brandon Nakashima in the final 7-6 (10/8) 7-5, thanks also to 21 aces scored .
Isner thus wins his sixteenth ATP trophy and joins Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic as active single players to win the same event six times. "I can't believe I succeeded. We'll see if I can do it a seventh time next year," said the 36-year-old, in his first final since winning two years ago on Newport grass.
