A police officer from Zwickau is suspected of having been violent towards colleagues and party guests.

The 48-year-old reportedly showed up at a private party on Saturday without an invitation, apparently with the aim of speaking to his ex-girlfriend.

When the ex-boyfriend refused, there were fights in which a 50-year-old was injured in the head.

The officer then fled by car.

Alerted police officers went to look for him.

When they found him, he is said to have insulted his colleagues and hit them in the face.

The man was allegedly drunk at the time of the crime.

He was taken to a hospital to have his blood drawn.

Now an investigation is being carried out on suspicion of drinking under the influence, assault and assault.

In addition, disciplinary proceedings were initiated.
