Google abandons Qualcomm, will make its own chips

(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 03 - Google has announced that it will abandon Qualcomm and produce its own processor for its smartphones, called Google Tensor.

It will be used for the new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro phones. Another example, therefore, of how companies now tend to make their own more advanced chips suited to their needs.

As in the case of Apple, which is already using its own processor in new computers instead of continuing to use those made by Intel.
