The court, defense and public prosecutor's office have agreed on a suspended sentence for a tank owner from the Kiel Fjord.
The 84-year-old is given a suspended sentence of no more than one year and five months for unauthorized possession of weapons, ammunition and explosives.
In addition, there is a monetary requirement of 250,000 euros.
The pensioner had previously confessed and undertook to sell the Panther type tank and an anti-aircraft gun.
Four months are to be considered served because of unlawful procedural delays.
The verdict is expected for Tuesday.
The gun collector was charged with violating the War Weapons Control Act and violations of the law on weapons.
During a search of his property in the summer of 2015, the tank, the anti-aircraft cannon as well as a torpedo, a mortar, machine and assault rifles, semi and fully automatic pistols and more than 1000 rounds of ammunition were found.
