Should you be afraid of Carnage when your name is Venom? The trailer answer

Tom Hardy finds his gluttonous parasite which sticks to him in the second part of the adventures of Eddie Brock which comes to enrich the Marvel universe.


Sony has just unveiled a new side of

Venom: It's Going to Be Carnage,

its spin-off from the

Spider-Man series.

The first film in the saga generated more than 720 million euros in 2018. Together with Marvel, the studio hopes to meet similar success when this sequel hits theaters on September 24.

This new trailer, which tells a large part of the upcoming film and finds time to do product placement, outlines the duel between serial killer Cletus Kasady, played by Woody Harrelson, and Venom, the beast who lives journalist Eddie Brock, played by Tom Hardy.

It is shown Kasady obtaining his superpowers and becoming Carnage after biting Brock when the two cross paths at the Ravencroft Institute, a high security prison. "

Kelly Marcel signs the screenplay for this new installment, co-written with Tom Hardy. As a monster regular, Andy Serkis (

directs the film, which features Michelle Williams and Naomie Harris in the cast. Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, Macel, Hardy and Hutch Parker are in production.
