The vaccination obligation does not pass in a part of the medical profession.
While the government wants to make the vaccine against Covid-19 compulsory for several professions from September 15, a strike call is launched on Wednesday concerning caregivers.
The SUD Social Health Federation is running this appeal until September 3.
It concerns “agents and employees subject to continuous services” in the private and public sectors, whether they are medical or non-medical personnel.
Among the demands is the abandonment of the health pass
The list of demands is extensive.
In addition to the "repeal of the vaccination obligation", it is a question of revalorization of salaries.
The health pass is not forgotten, since its abandonment is also claimed.
Among the requests are also: recognition of Covid-19 as an occupational disease;
the end of the closure of beds in favor, conversely, of the opening of beds;
a “massive hiring plan”;
more generally, the “end of the commodification of health (…) for the benefit of a large public service.

"We are not against vaccination but it must remain a free choice," Jean-Marc Devauchelle, secretary general of the SUD Social Health Federation, told Le Figaro. He explains that he was vaccinated. “But it's a personal choice, I'm not pushing anyone. And our federation does not have the will to impose either. He believes that there is not enough hindsight on vaccines yet. “We do not have enough hindsight as we could have in the case of taking a Doliprane or other vaccines. “In Lyon and Corsica, two strikes have already started in hospitals, again against the vaccination requirement.
