(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 04 - There are 6,596 Covid test positives identified in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Health Minister. Yesterday there were 4,845. Instead, there are 21 victims in one day (yesterday 27).
The molecular and antigenic swabs carried out were 215,748. Yesterday there were 209,719. The positivity rate is 3%, up from 2.3% yesterday.
Currently 260 patients are hospitalized in intensive care, 2 more than yesterday in the balance between income and expenses. According to data from the Ministry of Health, daily admissions were 14 (yesterday they were 26). The hospitalized with symptoms in the ordinary departments are 2,309 (yesterday 2,196), 113 more than yesterday.
Finally, in Italy since the beginning of the epidemic there are 4,369,964, 128,136 imports. The discharged and healed are instead 4,144,608, with an increase of 3,565 compared to yesterday. Currently positives are 97,220, up 3,004 in the last 24 hours.
