Final rush for green pass rules and school plan.

Tomorrow the control room and the CDM are scheduled on the next anti-Covid measures, with the hypothesis of mandatory green pass for school staff.

Crucial hours - in the meantime - also for the general approval of the school plan, in view of the return in September: the document should be discussed by the governors today in an extraordinary state-regions.

The intention of the Minister of Education Patrizio Bianchi - and of the entire Executive - is to restart with the lessons in the presence, following the line dictated by the Technical Scientific Committee in its latest opinion provided to the dicastery.

It is "a precise political responsibility of the Government to evaluate whether or not to introduce the obligation to vaccinate school staff, if it deems it an absolutely necessary measure to ensure the resumption of teaching activities in safety and in the presence".

CGIL, CISL, Snals and Anief write this in a letter to the ministers

in which they recall that "over 85% of school staff" are vaccinated. "However, we are of the opinion that the introduction of the vaccination obligation would not in itself be sufficient to guarantee the resumption of teaching activities in the presence and in safety", they add.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Tourism Massimo Garavaglia lists the points that are considered fundamental for the League to safeguard the tourist season. "Measures marked by pragmatism - underlines Garavaglia - and simplification": 1) Green Pass exemption for minors 2) Self-certification for bar and restaurant customers 3) Green Pass exemption for outdoor fairs and festivals 4) Green Pass exemption for internal services to hotels 5) No restrictions on means of transport. "They are common sense measures. To which I believe it is right to add, for the return to school, swabs (salivary) for children; as they have already been adopted in some regions" adds Garavaglia.
