EA has neglected the career mode of "FIFA" in the last few years.
But long overdue innovations seem to be planned for “FIFA 22”.
Due to the great popularity of the “FIFA Ultimate Team” (FUT) mode, Electronic Arts has paid very little attention to other modes in the last “FIFA” games.
For an understandable reason: "FUT" is the cash cow for EA, as many players spend money on in-game purchases for packs.
A well-known streamer proved a while ago that this is essentially a game of chance, but there are very few chances of success * - nevertheless, the mode is popular with numerous “FIFA” players.
After all, EA seems to finally want to offer innovations to fans of the career mode for “FIFA 22”.
"FIFA 22": Career mode finally brings the "Create a Club" feature
According to EA, the career
mode will
bring back
"
Create a
Club
", in which players can found their own club and develop from an eternal relegation candidate to an absolute top team.
Details are not yet known, but it is to be expected that the
club names
,
jerseys
,
logo
and possibly also the
stadium will be individually designed
can be.
In addition, it would be desirable to be able to adapt one's own club after the start so that the players don't always have to wear the same jersey.
It is questionable which squad the specially created team will come up with - it may be randomly generated, fictional players or real players will be signed directly.

Fans have long wanted "Create a Club" for the career mode. After all, it is more motivating
to gradually move up to the top leagues with a weaker team
than to start in the first division and in the Champions League with a top club like FC Bayern, Real Madrid or Manchester City. Of course that would also be possible with one of the teams already available in the game - but for many “FIFA” fans it is certainly nicer to give
the club its own paint job
. Which other innovations will be in the career mode of “FIFA 22” remains to be seen. But it's good that EA is finally making improvements here.
